How to set up the custom badges on product images

how do i enable this product tag on the site should i use a product meta field? https://ks-local.myshopify.com/collections/men/products/bag-series-1

i mean the new tag on the image. (CAN NOT ADD SCREENSHOTS IN POST)

Hi Troy,

Yes, you should create a new metafield with namespace/key custom.badge and with a type of Single line of text.

Then on your products, you can add custom badges like this New | #121212 or just New if you don't prefer to have custom colors.

Also, my apologies, the upload feature should work fine now on this forum.

HI alvin i was able to implement but with one issue the padding looks weird.

ok went around the settings i found a fix ish losing out on something but it's alright. (Losing the boarder around the image The fix is changing PRODUCT CARD/IMAGE MODE/IMAGE ) **

Went around my site to change it around but that's when i noticed that the color is also different
i prefer the first one is there a way to fix thanks alvin

Hi Troy,

It seems the class name was wrong on the custom badge snippet file. I removed the extra ks- prefix, which seems to show fine just as in the demo.

If you need further help let me know.
