The Hero Slideshow section has these 2 settings, which you need to leave empty if you want the images/videos not to get cropped

If they have a height value, all images/videos of the slider will be using those values, so the slider can have the same height.

That's how your video is made, unfortunately, with those parts on the side, probably you have to create it again.
