NOTE: This tutorial doesn't apply to our standalone snippet, but only within our Premium Shopify themes.
The Quantity Breaks feature allows you to sell more by giving yours a discount if they purchase more items. This feature works on the product page and usually shows like this:
To enable the Quantity Breaks feature, Please follow these steps
1 - Create the metafield for this feature. It should be a type of Single line of text - list of values and with the namespace/key custom.qty_breaks
2- Then, for each product, you should assign the metafield values that you want to show on the Quantity breaks feature. For example, on our demo product as you can see from the screenshot below we have 3 quantity breaks.
For each item there we have this format quantity:discount. Note they are separated by a colon ":" character
3- For each of the quantity breaks you have enabled, for example, we have 3 above, you need to create the corresponding automatic discount code as seen in the screenshot below. The discount should be automatic and it should be restricted based on the quantity.
