Issue with app and cart drawer elements

Hi there,
my cart drawer is pulling in some different information to the cart page. I can't work out when, but it's a random occurance. Some items add as $0.00 with an erroneous product title. Thanks

Hi,

I'm checking this issue, but unfortunately, it's very difficult to find a solution. The problem is that you added lots of split JS codes, and probably one of them might create that issue. Also, what's the name of the app that you are using for the calculator? The first step we can take here is to install a blank Dawn theme version and test it with the app so that we can see if it's working fine or not, because if it's working, it's not the app issue but rather something within the code.

Thanks for checking Alvin. The app is this one:

It creates a variant when something is added to cart and I know that they have to run a delay of sorts in order for the calculator to create the variant (we get a spinning wheel for a few seconds while it does this). I'm not sure then what it is doing, or if this might affect the creation of the item in the cart.

Yes, that might be a complex project to handle, but still, it should work as expected.

I installed a blank Dawn theme to test the app, and it still does that, so I suppose that's something they need to fix. Unfortunately, that's not something that I can do.

I spoke to the calculator people and they said that their app doesn't function with cart drawer, which explains it. pity.

Thats a complex app i suppose you you have to do some compromises. Maybe if you can simplify the business model and offer a more streamlined solution might be good. Also we can help with custom coding if you need to implement it. But if the app works as expected better to stick with it
